dear diary,

big brother had to go on a trip today, so he left me home with a knitsitter! usually my big sister watches over me when he’s away, but she lives somewhere else now, so she can’t always do that anymore. i miss her lots, but we always go visit her in her cave, so it’s okay!

anyways, i was a little scared the knitsitter wouldn’t be fun, but guess what!! it was my friend folke! i was so happy to see them again, i had to give them a big hug when i saw them! they’re very big and tall, so i didn’t knock them over. my brother still scolded me a little bit, but i saw him smile so i know he wasn’t mad.

we played all day long! i got to show folke all of my toys and companions, and we even drew a picture together for when big brother comes back home. folke had a little trouble with my crayons ‘cause their paws are soooo big, but they didn’t break any of them ‘cause they’re very careful! they’re also really good at making snacks, and i even got to help with dinner!

(folke cleaned up the mess i made and promised not to tell my brother. shhh!)

i’m getting sleepy now, so i’m gonna go see if folke will read me a bedtime story. maybe they can watch over for monsters while i sleep. folke is big and strong! he might look a little scary, but i know they’re good, and they’ll protect me if any monsters try to come and get me!

that’s all for today! we’re going to the park for a picnic tomorrow when my brother gets back, so i’ll write all about that then!
