dear diary,

i promised i’d write about our picnic day, and boy do i have stuff to write about!

i woke up super early to try and make breakfast to thank folke for being such a cool knitsitter, but they were already up?? how can they wake up so early, i don’t get it! anyways, we had cereal for breakfast and then they let me help with preparing food for our picnic, since big brother wouldn’t be back until a little bit later. it was tons of fun making little sandwiches and lemonade! but then i got tired and went down for a nap.

when i woke up big brother was back, and even better! my big sister suzy was with him! i almost cried, i was so so happy to see her! i made sure to pack some of the pretty rocks stardust found last time we went out adventuring, as a treat for my sister. the basket was packed and ready to go, so the four of us left for the park!

folke was a little awkward when we got there, since it was a little crowded. the sun was shining and all, so there were lots of folks out having a nice day out at the park. i promised them i’d protect them tho, and they seemed happy! i got to play around with my sister for a little bit before it was time to eat, and we even played with a few other knits that were out and about. it was tons of fun, but then my tummy was growling, so it was time to eat!

everything was really tasty, and suzy had even snuck in some sugary snacks just for me! she was very happy about the rocks i packed for her, too! my favourite part was the cake big brother lucky brought home with him though, it was soooo yummy! i wanna eat it again!

anyways. i’m getting a little sleepy from playing at the park all day, so that’s all for now. i hope we can have another picnic soon… maybe i should invite more friends next time!
