We wanted to share with you all a decision we have been considering over the past several months. But first, we thought it would be beneficial for us to be a little transparent about some things in our lives. As I'm sure you are all aware, we have lives outside of Plush Dragons, and sometimes those lives require a large amount of focus and time. Seraph is not only a parent of two toddlers, but also juggles a number of responsibilities alongside raising her family. Sunnie works a full time job that applies a lot of mental stress. As you can imagine, both of us are left with very minimal free time, which has resulted in no small amount of burn out and difficulty in focusing and providing content that is satisfying without leaving us mentally exhausted, and it is becoming harder and harder for us to justify the costs of owning and maintaining the site as our real life costs change. With all that said, we hope you will understand out decision to take a hiatus in the near future. Starting today, 09/01, there will be no new prompts or prompt approvals available. MYOs and Transfers will be approved through 10/30/2025, and the hiatus will officially begin on 11/01. Here are some things we think you should know about the hiatus and it's impact on you:

• The Plush Dragons Discord will be closed,
• The site itself will be unavailable, however we will have a general backup of the site and it's data saved offline for when we are ready to return,
• Staff/mods/owners will be unavailable during this hiatus - after all, this is a decision that is being made to help us recover from burnout and restore the joy that this species has brought to us alongside you all,
• DA group will be updated when return date is announced/ready, so be sure to follow,
• DA group notes will not be monitored.
