It's Hauntober, and your Plush Dragon is beyond excited! There is so much going on within the month, they aren't quite sure how to spend it! Maybe the help of a couple friends will help them figure it out!

Depict your plush dragon with 2 other plush dragons, participating in some fun Hauntober festivities! It could be a party, or going to a coffee shop to relax. It could even be going to a haunted house!

“Oh dear… Where could they have gone, Hocus?” Pocus spoke as Hocus scrambled around her shop, looking high and low. “Of all times to lose such a dangerous companion…” Hocus looked up to her witch hat and sighed. She thought for a moment, then realized she needed all the help she could get. She quickly wrote up a letter, tied it by string, and placed a wax seal on it.

The Letter Reads:

To whom this letter is received by,

We have found ourselves in a bit of a pickle… A very dangerous companion species that we tame around this time of year, has gotten out, and we cannot seem to find them. Horrible things can happen to any plush dragon who finds one of these companions before it is tamed. We need your help. Please meet us at Lush Plush where we will iron out any details about this search party. There will be a great reward once the companions are found.

She closed her eyes and softly murmured a spell that would duplicate, and send this letter to each and every Plush Dragon in Draelvary. Hocus smiled up to her hat. “Ah, letters. Well, I hope we get some volunteers, because we are definitely going to need a lot of help.” Pocus spoke. “If this companion is found by someone else… you know what will happen.” Hocus knew only she could tame these types of companions, and she was terrified that the ones who escaped would cause so much trouble. 

Part One: Your plush dragon has received a ghouly letter. They learn that Hocus and Pocus needs their help! Depict your Plush Dragon heading out, and meeting with Hocus and Pocus!  What do they bring on this little adventure? Are they scared, or are they ready for the challenge?

Part Two: After meeting with Hocus and Pocus, your Plush Dragon is told they need to set out and find these companions as soon as possible. They are also told nighttime is the best time to find them. Depict your PD helping Hocus and Pocus. What areas do they look in? Are they spooked by the nighttime life outdoors?

Part Three: When all hope was thought to be lost, the companions were found! Depict your PD finding the group of companions, and helping gather them with Hocus. What were those little stinkers doing? Was your PD afraid of them?

Part Four: After Hocus casts her spell to tame these little beasts, the group heads back with all the lost companions. Once back at Lush Plush, Hocus and Pocus inform your PD that their reward is one of these very unique companions! Depict your PD being gifted this companion from Hocus and Pocus. Does the transformation take place immediately?

The wind howled through the night, leaves flew across the streets and danced within the air. It was an eerie night, feeling as if something could pop out from the shadows at any moment.

Your Plush Dragon noticed a few wisps outside their window, jumping up and down, as if they wished to be followed. They begin to head to town, and your plush dragon follows, ending up at Lush Plush. Inside, you see Sybil speaking with an unfamiliar Plush Dragon. She wore a long cape clasped together with an amethyst pendant, accented with an amethyst head piece.

As you walk in, the two Plush Dragons look to you.

“Ah, it seems my wisps did their job… Welcome. My name is Cerridwen, but you can call me Cerri. I’m here to ask for assistance.”

Depict your plush dragon heading towards Lush Plush, then meeting Sybil and Cerri. What do they see on their way there? How do they feel about the unfamiliar Plush Dragon?

Cerri states that there has been a breach in the necromancy world. Spirits have gone rogue, and refuse to cross over, which makes it even harder on a practicing Necromancer.

“These spirits need to be rounded up and contained. Then sent to Saint Tempest, where they will find their true homes. But you must be careful, as a spirit can attach to you. They seek to become what they once were, and befriending a living plush dragon allows them to experience life once more, just through you.”

Cerri takes a deep breath and and closes her eyes, “You may come out.”

As Cerri spoke her words, a ghostly aura filled the air around her. As it settled, your plush dragon noticed a little shadow casted on the floor. It waves shyly, then hides behind Cerri’s shadow, “As you can see, they’re harmless, once attached. And they can be pretty nice companions.”

“The three of us will venture out into the night, and collect the rogue spirits within these crystals. They typically hide in wooded areas, though anything is possible. They will also look like Cerridwen’s wisps, but act quite feral.” Pocus spoke for Sybil, as she handed your Plush Dragon a glowing amethyst crystal. “Once they’re collected, Saint Cerridwen will transfer them to Saint Tempest.”

Depict your Plush Dragon meeting Cerri’s shadow, then heading off into the night to gather the lost spirits. How do they feel about the shadow buddy? How difficult was it to capture the spirits? Where were they hiding?

After rounding up as many spirits as the three of you found, the crystals stopped glowing, as they were full. Saint Cerridwen takes the crystals and puts them in a pocket within her cloak. “Thank you so very much for the help. I would not have been able to do this without you.” Cerri’s shadow peers off into the distance, then wiggles its little shadow body. There was one spirit left, and it was heading towards your Plush Dragon.

It danced around your Plush Dragon, then suddenly appeared to shift into it! Within seconds, a small shadow-like creature appeared next to your dragon's shadow, and waved. “It appears you have been chosen, my friend. There is no need to be afraid. It looks as if it really likes you.”

Depict your Plush Dragon meeting their very own shadow buddy! What is their initial reaction?
